Just wrapped on two long days of shooting a music video for Australian pop star Gina G. Check her out at www.GinaG.com.
Quite a nice person. Very down-to-earth and all-around just... nice. I didn't see her once lose her patience with the chaos surrounding the making of the video. In fact, she was running around set snapping photos with her camera and having as much fun as the rest of the cast. I'd love to see her become successful in America soon.
Music videos are shot in 1 to 2 days generally so the days are long and hard and tiring. 12-16 hour days with extremely early morning call times. Oh - and my hair was worn straight for the filming so that meant extra extra early monings for me to have my hair de-curled.
But the finished product will be fab! :)
I played the role of Catwalk Model in the video - which will be quite funny when editing is done. I'll certainly post it to my website when I get a copy in about a month.
Below are some photos from the set! (click to enlarge)

We thought this one looked like a band shot. We named our band Modelesque.

Getting my hair slicked down - it kept wanting to curl all day. Plus the "atmosphere" was created by using mineral water in a machine that makes fog. That means humidity in the room. Mixed with natural curls that have been straightened out - not too good.

We had our own room at the studio. Nice room. Private bathroom, television with satellite or video feed from the set, lounging couch, desk, phone, etc... And we didn't have to hang with the extras. Yeah, we felt hot!

Just having fun behind the runway between takes. We were told all day to give "model attitude." Can you see our Zoolander faces?

This guy played the head designer at the fashion show. Just wait until you see the completed video. He is absolutely hilarious! And that's not a wig!
