Half Time 31-21 West Virginia. :( But I have faith. Georgia is coming back... they just wanted to make for an interesting game and whooping up on WVU in the beginning would be way too boring. Saving that for the second half.

I am acustomed to this kind of terential downpour from the time I spent in Florida. What I am not acustomed to are Southern California mudslides and fallen rocks. But that's exactly what I encountered this morning.

...fireplace, I was driving up a flooded canyon road while buckets and buckets of water pounded my truck - the truck with the broken windshield wiper.
AND THE KICK!!! Oh yea, 31-28
Scary scary drive, I tell you. Water ws rushing so fast down the hill of two-lane road that it looked like a river. No, not some small stream. A freaking river. One car that chose to park on the street (obviously prior to the rain and flood) had completely covered tires and the water threatened to enter at the bottom of the doors.
A little further up the twisty, curvy road, I had to swirve to avoid masses of rocks that littered my lane. The rocks were as big as bricks, some bigger. The result of loosened dirt and rocks on the mountains lining the canyon road. And still further up the road I encountered a stretch of yellow mud that coated both lanes.
All of this on top of the fact that my stupid windshield wiper wouldn't work right.
Ugh.
But here's a bit of...

...but here's a bit of fun news. When I got to work this morning, I turned on the tv and watched the parade in rerun and saw that a LOWNDES county band opened the parade! Valdosta. Cool.
Dumb Dumb Dumb good kick. 38-28
Dawgs don't let me down.
But the rain has finally stopped. The weather looks good for the rain to be done.
